1. Definitions

"Company" refers to ACME Sound & Light Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

"Customer" refers to any individual or entity renting equipment.

"Equipment" refers to all rental items and accessories.

2. Rental Basis

All equipment remains the property of the Company. Customers are granted usage rights only during the rental period.

3. User Responsibility

CUSTOMER MUST:

  • Responsible for the proper handling, safekeeping, and usage of the equipment.
  • Not Sub-leased, sub-rented, transferred, or otherwise made available to any third party.
  • Not use equipment for unlawful purposes.

4. Damage & Loss

CUSTOMER MUST LIABLE FOR:

  • Minor damage: repair costs.
  • Major damage: replacement costs.
  • Loss/theft: full replacement value.

5. Late Return Policy

Failure to return the rented equipment within 24 hours of the agreed return time, without prior notice or an approved extension request, the Company reserves the right to lodge a police report, and additional rental charges will be imposed.

6. Payment Terms

Full payment must be made within 72 hours upon order confirmation. Order with no payment receive within the stated timeframe will be automatically cancelled.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation before dispatch: refundable.
  • Last-minute cancellation: charges may apply.

8. Rental Duration

All rentals are based on a standard period of 7 days unless otherwise specified.

9. Extension Request & Charges

Any extension of the rental period is subject to availability and approval.

  • Extension of 1-3 days: An additional charge of 50% of the original rental fee will be imposed.
  • Extension of 4-7 days: An additional charge of 100% of the original rental fee will be imposed.

10. Logistics Arrangement 

Shipping, delivery, return transportation charges and manpower shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise stated.

11. Loading & Unloading Crew

A minimum of 4 personnel must be provided by the customers for loading and unloading purposes.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other losses, damages, injuries, delays, costs, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the use or misuse of the equipment.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
